Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking Security Officers for a high-profile government services site in Kingaroy, Queensland. The role is frontline, requiring professionalism and excellent customer service to keep the public-facing environment safe and compliant.

Shifts are primarily Monday to Friday during business hours, with a casual employment type and a daytime roster. You will manage access points, monitor movements, de-escalate incidents, and deliver a welcoming, professional experience

About the Role

We are seeking professional Security Officers to support a high-profile government services site in Kingaroy, Queensland. This is a frontline role where professionalism, composure and customer service excellence are essential in maintaining a safe and secure public-facing environment.

As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you will set the tone, delivering a welcoming, respectful and professional experience while maintaining strict adherence to site procedures and security protocols.

This is a highly customer-focused role requiring strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to confidently manage difficult or sensitive situations. You will be responsible for maintaining site security while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility, with shifts primarily available Monday to Friday during business operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed and Crowd Control)
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
