Job summary

Australian Christian College Group is seeking a Secondary Learning Support Teacher (Full-Time) to join the Learning Support Team. You will develop Individualised Learning Plans, identify students in need, and support teachers with differentiated instruction and inclusive practices.

The role requires active Christian faith, NESA accreditation (or eligibility), and commitment to evidence-based strategies to promote student learning and wellbeing. A current Working With Children Check is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith and alignment with ACC values.
• Ability to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Excellent teaching as per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Ability to receive feedback and implement changes.
• Ability to plan, collect and analyse educational data for interventions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review Individualised Learning Plans for students with diverse learning needs.
• Identify students requiring additional learning support from assessment and referrals.
• Differentiate curriculum, assessment and teaching strategies with classroom teachers.
• Advise staff on reasonable adjustments per Disability Standards for Education.
• Assist in management of NCCD data and progress monitoring.
