Australian Christian College Group seeks a Secondary Learning Support Teacher (Full-Time) to join our Learning Support Team. You will develop Individualised Learning Plans, identify students needing support, and help teachers differentiate curriculum and instruction while ensuring Disability Standards for Education compliance.

The role requires active Christian faith, NESA accreditation or eligibility, and experience in supporting diverse learners.

Qualifikationen

• Active Christian faith required.
• NESA accreditation or eligibility.
• Knowledge of Learning Support or Special Provisions desirable.
• Ability to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Willingness to receive feedback and implement changes.
• Ability to plan, collect and analyse educational data and devise interventions.
• Current Employee Working With Children Check.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement and review Individualised Learning Plans for students with diverse needs.
• Identify students requiring additional support via data, referrals and observation.
• Support classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum, assessment and teaching strategies.
• Advise on reasonable adjustments aligned to Disability Standards for Education.
• Assist in management of NCCD data collection.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Liaise with parents/caregivers on progress and transitions.
• Assist students with assessment accommodations and exam provisions.
• Work with students individually and in small groups within mainstream classes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development on best practices in special education.
• Support students in developing positive behaviours, self-regulation and resilience.
