Job summary

Crown Resorts seeks a Risk & Compliance Assurance Manager in Melbourne for an 18 Month Max Term contract to lead the Second Line assurance function. You will assess control design and operating effectiveness, deliver independent assurance opinions and strengthen the control environment.

Reporting to the Head of Risk / General Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, this hands-on role challenges you to dig into detail, partner with the business, and drive remediation across the Crown Melbourne

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, assurance or audit within a large, regulated organisation.
Experience in controls testing and assurance across multiple business units.
Understanding of the Three Lines model and Second Line oversight.
Tertiary finance/legal qualifications are desirable; VGCCC licence eligibility

Responsibilities

Lead risk and compliance assurance activity across Crown Melbourne business units per the Assurance Plan.
Plan and execute controls testing to assess design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
Lead thematic reviews in response to external enquiries or identified control weaknesses.
Document findings and deliver timely assurance reports for governance forums.
Oversee the First Line control self-assessment process.
Collaborate with management to remediate control design or operating weaknesses.
