Job summary

KE Select is partnering with an established organisation in the scientific and laboratory supply sector to recruit a Customer Service Officer. The role involves customer service, sales administration and proactive sales support to deliver a positive customer experience.

You will manage enquiries, quotes, orders and CRM records while identifying sales opportunities and supporting the broader sales team. Experience in scientific/lab products is advantageous and interview salary will be discussed.

Qualifications

• Experience in scientific/laboratory/medical/technical or industrial products is advantageous.
• Candidates from other product-based or distribution environments with strong customer service and sales support experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries relating to products, pricing, availability, orders and deliveries.
• Prepare and process customer quotations and sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively follow up quotations and engage with existing and prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and growth.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and promoting new products.
• Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs and warranty enquiries with suppliers and service providers.
• Liaise with internal sales, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system.
• Assist customers with online ordering, account registrations and eCommerce enquiries.
• Work collaboratively with Account Managers to support sales initiatives and customer requirements.
