Job summary

Government schools is seeking an ICT Support role for Kambrya College in Victoria. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day IT faults, maintain essential systems, and support teaching and learning through technology.

You will install and maintain ICT infrastructure, ensure security and compliance, and assist with BYOD and website maintenance, all while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with members of the school community including students.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems, software or technical equipment.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, education support staff, students and parents.
• A commitment to professional learning and growth.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Information Technology relevant to school ICT.
• Provide support and/or attendant care to students where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day to day IT faults and service interruptions are responded to urgently and service delivery processes are followed.
• Maintenance of key digital systems (Timetabler, CASES21, Compass, Office365) for communication and learning.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of ICT infrastructure and equipment at the College.
• Ensure security and integrity of the College's ICT systems in line with DET policies.
• Maintain ICT hardware including computers, printers, copiers, servers, and network gear.
• Support the school's BYOD program.
• Assist in maintaining the College website.
• Monitor internet usage and student/staff printing accounts.
• Demonstrate confidentiality, respect and discretion.
• Comply with College policies and provide a safe working environment.
