Job summary

Join Dovida as a Scheduling Coordinator in Birkdale, Brisbane. You’ll coordinate caregiver rosters, respond to changing priorities and support clients and caregivers with timely, empathetic service.

Ideal candidates will have rostering or scheduling experience, a confident phone manner, and the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure while building strong relationships with our care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering, scheduling or coordination (healthcare or community services is highly regarded).
• Confident, professional phone manner with excellent verbal communication.
• Able to prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining fortnightly rosters for our caregivers.
• Managing daily roster changes and filling last-minute shifts.
• Speaking with caregivers and clients throughout the day to coordinate schedules and provide outstanding support.
• Building strong relationships through professional, empathetic communication.
• Using scheduling software to ensure efficient and accurate rostering.
• Working a rotating roster, including one evening shift per week and one weekend day per month.

We're looking for a professional, organised and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our supportive team. This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the phone, can think on their feet, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to both clients and caregivers.

Every day is different. You'll coordinate caregiver rosters, respond to changing priorities, manage last-minute schedule adjustments, and build positive relationships with our clients and care team. Your calm approach, empathy, and ability to make confident decisions will help ensure our clients receive the support they need, when they need it.
