Dovida Australia is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator in Brisbane to manage caregiver rosters and coordinate schedules with clients. The role emphasizes warm, professional communication and the ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced home-care environment.

You will interact with caregivers and clients daily, maintain rosters, and ensure timely support while working a rotating roster including evening shifts and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering, scheduling or coordination (healthcare or community services experience highly regarded).
• Confident and professional phone manner with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Able to think quickly, prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support teammates and caregivers.
• Genuine empathy and a customer-focused mindset.
• Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills.
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fortnightly rosters for caregivers.
• Manage daily roster changes and fill last-minute shifts.
• Speak with caregivers and clients to coordinate schedules and provide outstanding support.
• Build strong relationships through professional, empathetic communication.
• Use scheduling software to ensure efficient rostering.
• Work a rotating roster including one evening shift per week and one weekend day per month.
