Job summary

The University of Sydney seeks an experienced SBA Project Officer (Operations) to join the Central Operations Services team. This role blends coordination with hands‑on delivery across multiple workstreams, partnering with researchers, clinicians and operational staff to translate requirements into workable systems.

As SBA moves from construction to operation, you will help develop core operational frameworks, support change management, and provide reporting, governance papers and milestone

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Demonstrated experience in a project or operational role with stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and drive progress with limited supervision.
• Experience with financial modelling and translating data into insights.
• Experience preparing briefs and presentations for senior audiences.
• Strong documentation and information management in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support development of core operational frameworks for the SBA across researchers, clinicians and cross‑functional teams.
• Support development of workflows that enable staff and students to experience the SBA as a high‑performing environment.
• Support communications, reporting and change management activities related to establishing the above.
• Provide project coordination and reporting, including papers, reports and milestone tracking.
• Synthesize data from researcher engagement into actionable reports for senior staff.
• Provide broader project support to the SBA as directed by the Manager.
