Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Caloundra is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Salesperson to join our busy tyre and workshop team. You will be the first point of contact in-store and over the phone, helping customers pick tyres, wheels, and services, guiding them from enquiry to drive-away.

You will work with experienced mechanics, receive full product and systems training, and benefit from a competitive commission structure. This full-time role supports career growth within our national network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, automotive, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in helping customers and solving problems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone.
• Provide expert advice on tyre brands, sizes, and vehicle suitability.
• Quote and sell tyres, wheels, and automotive services.
• Book customer appointments for tyre fitting, wheel alignments, services.
• Process sales transactions and manage point-of-sale systems.
• Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure timely job completion.
• Maintain showroom and retail area presentation.
• Follow up with customers on completed work and future service needs.
• Promote current offers, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Assist with stock management and ordering where required.

JAX Tyres & Auto Caloundra is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Saleperson to join our busy tyre and mechanical workshop. This is a front-line role where you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right tyres, wheels, and automotive services for their vehicles.

As a Salesperson, you'll work alongside our experienced mechanics and fitters, advising customers on tyre selection, booking in services, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience from enquiry to drive-away.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone
• - Provide expert advice on tyre brands, sizes, and suitability for customer vehicles
• - Quote and sell tyres, wheels, and automotive services
• - Book customer appointments for tyre fitting, wheel alignments, logbook servicing, brakes, and suspension work
• - Process sales transactions and manage point-of-sale systems
• - Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure timely job completion
• - Maintain showroom and retail area presentation
• - Follow up with customers on completed work and future service needs
• - Promote current offers, promotions, and loyalty programs
• - Assist with stock management and ordering where required

What We're Looking For:

• - Previous experience in retail sales, automotive, or a similar customer-facing role
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• - A genuine interest in helping customers and solving problems
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• - Basic computer literacy and comfort with point-of-sale systems
• - A current driver's licence
• - Automotive knowledge is an advantage but not essential - full training will be provided
