Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Cairns is looking for an enthusiastic salesperson with a mechanic background to join the friendly team. You will work closely with workshop and front-office staff to deliver excellent service and ensure customers leave confident in their purchase.

Key tasks include assisting customers, front counter sales, vehicle inspections, data entry, processing payments, and maintaining stock records. The ideal candidate has at least two years industry experience, strong computer skills,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years industry experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and unsupervised.
• Knowledge of WHS.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Provide front counter service and sales.
• Complete vehicle inspections.

About the Role

JAX Cairnsis excited to welcome one new, experienced individualto join their friendly team. We are looking for an enthusiastic salesperson with a mechanic background. This role will work closely with other workshop and front office staff to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind driving.

What you would do

As a salesperson, your day-to-day tasks will include;

• Attending to customers and providing exceptional customer experience
• Front Counter Serviceand sales
• Completing vehicle inspections
• Motivating, encouraging and communicating with your team
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
• Data Entry
• Handling and processing payments
• Maintaining sales, receipts and stock records

About you

• Strong computer skills
• Excellent problem-solver

• 2 years industry experience
• You can work cooperatively in a team environment, but also confidently when unsupervised
