JAX Tyres & Auto Pymble is searching for a results-driven Service Advisor or qualified mechanic looking to come off the tools, thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced automotive environment. This frontline sales role focuses on converting enquiries, upselling tyres and servicing, and maximizing every customer interaction to boost workshop revenue.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work Saturdays on a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Convert walk-ins and phone enquiries into bookings and sales.
• Upsell tyres, servicing packages, alignments, brakes and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to increase average sale value on every job.
• Manage bookings and control workflow to maximise workshop efficiency.
• Keep customers informed and confident throughout the service process.
• Assist workshop when required and support technicians as needed.
• Build repeat business through proactive follow-ups and relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Convert walk-ins and phone enquiriesinto confirmed bookings and sales
• Upsell tyres, servicing packages, alignments, brakes, and preventative maintenance
• Identify opportunities to increase average sale valueon every job
• Manage bookings and control job flowto maximise workshop efficiency
• Keep customers informed and confident throughout the service process
• Assist workshop when required
• Build repeat business and customer loyaltythrough proactive follow-ups
• Work closely with technicians to sell required and recommended repairs
• Process payments and maintain accurate sales and job records
• Contribute to a high-performance, sales-focused team culture
• Maintain compliance with WHS and operational standards

Who You Are

• Strong customer service with a focus to maintaining good relationships
• Strong mechanical & tyre knowledge
• Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive (Optional)
• Workflow management of an automotive workshop understanding
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
• Proven experience in a busy retail environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Available to work Saturdays rotating roster
