Job summary

HCF Tweed Heads is seeking a Branch Member Consultant to be the face of Australia's largest Not-For-Profit Health Fund. In this full-time role you’ll help members make informed healthcare choices and deliver exceptional service.

Based at the Tweed Heads branch with an initial training week in Sydney, you’ll develop needs-based selling skills, maintain accurate member records, and work with a collaborative team to improve member outcomes.

• Background in customer service with ability to build rapport quickly.
• Able to grasp complex computer systems.

Job description

As a Branch Member Consultant at HCF, you'll be the face of Australia's largest Not-For-Profit Health Fund! Your personal touch will help guide our members in making informed healthcare choices.

Location & Hours

This full-time position is based in our HCF Tweed Heads Branch.

Flexibility

We offer one Family & Friends day and 3 additional flexible leave days each year, giving you more freedom to recharge, manage personal commitments, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Training

Please note there will be one week of training in our Head Office in Sydney CBD (commencing 19th October or 30th November) with travel and accommodation arranged in advance. This training has been designed to help support you and your transition into this role. You will also be provided with consistent, ongoing coaching and support to help you succeed and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace face-to-face and telephone needs-based selling, highlighting our diverse range of health, life, and other insurance products. This may also include opportunities to broaden your business development skills outside of the HCF branch and in your local community.
• Ensure resolutions to our members' problems that go beyond expectations.
• Maintain the accuracy of our membership information in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

• Proven background in customer service environments, with the ability to build rapport quickly and confidently.
