Job summary

HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, invites you to join the Maroochydore branch as a Branch Member Consultant. This full-time role features M-F, 8:45am-5pm, with no weekends, and a start anchored in delivering personalised health and life insurance guidance to members.

One week of training at our Sydney Head Office (19 October) with travel and accommodation arranged, plus ongoing coaching to support your transition and success in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in needs-based selling and customer service environments.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently.
• Comfort with using computer systems and CRM tools.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving work practices.

Job description

As a Branch Member Consultant at HCF, you'll be the face of Australia's largest Not-For-Profit Health Fund! Your personal touch will help guide our members in making informed healthcare choices.

Location & Hours

This full time position is based in our HCF Maroochydore Branch. The hours for this role are Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 5pm - no weekends!

Training

Please note there will be one week of training in our Head Office in Sydney CBD (commencing 19th October), with travel and accommodation arranged in advance. This training has been designed to help support you and your transition into this role. You will also be provided with consistent, ongoing coaching and support to help you succeed and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace face-to-face and telephone needs-based selling, highlighting our diverse range of health, life, and other insurance products. This may also include opportunities to broaden your business development skills outside of the HCF branch and in your local community.
• Ensure resolutions to our members' problems that go beyond expectations.
• Maintain the accuracy of our membership information in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

• Proven background in customer service environments, with the ability to build rapport quickly and confidently.
