HCF in Castle Hill, NSW is seeking a Branch Member Consultant to be the face of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund. You’ll guide members through needs-based conversations, promote our range of health and life insurance products, and help people make informed healthcare choices.

This full-time, on-site role offers flexible leave, training at Sydney HQ, and ongoing coaching to build confidence. You’ll work with a collaborative team, handle face-to-face and phone inquiries, and maintain

About the Role

As a Branch Member Consultant at HCF, you'll be the face of Australia's largest Not-For-Profit Health Fund! Your personal touch will help guide our members in making informed healthcare choices.

Location & Hours

This full-time position is based in our HCF Castle Hill Branch. The hours are Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 5pm.

You will also be required to work 1 - 2 Saturday's per month from 9am - 12pm, with additional pay provided for these shifts.

Flexibility

We offer one Family & Friends day and 3 additional flexible leave days each year, giving you more freedom to recharge, manage personal commitments, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Training

Please note there will be one week of training in our Head Office in Sydney CBD (commencing 19th October). This training has been designed to help support you and your transition into this role. You will also be provided with consistent, ongoing coaching and support to help you succeed and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace face-to-face and telephone needs-based selling, highlighting our diverse range of health, life, and other insurance products. This may also include opportunities to broaden your business development skills outside of the HCF branch and in your local community.
• Ensure resolutions to our members’ problems that go beyond expectations.
• Maintain the accuracy of our membership information in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

• Proven background in customer service environments, with the ability to build rapport quickly and confidently.
• Quick to grasp complex computer systems.
