Job summary

Forklogic, proudly part of the Adaptalift Group, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive new business from Somersby and surrounding areas in New South Wales. This field-based role focuses on opening doors, building relationships and growing our short-term rental fleet across our equipment range.

You'll spend time on the road meeting customers, identifying opportunities and converting prospects into quotes while collaborating with rental and operations teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven sales success in on-road sales or business development.
• Ability to match equipment solutions to customer needs.
• Experience in capital equipment, construction, or materials handling.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with prospecting and new business development.

This role is focused on building relationships, generating opportunities and growing our short-term rental business across our fleet of materials handling and access equipment. You'll be backed by a supportive team, strong brands and a manager who understands what it takes to succeed.

About The Role:

You’ll spend your time on the road meeting customers, identifying opportunities and growing your territory through proactive business development activities. Success in this role comes from building relationships, understanding customer applications and matching the right equipment solution to their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prospecting, cold calling and generating new short-term rental opportunities
• Conducting regular customer visits and building long-term business relationships
• Preparing quotes, following up opportunities and closing deals
• Understanding customer applications and recommending suitable equipment solutions
• Working closely with rental and operational teams to ensure outstanding customer outcomes

About You:

You're a motivated sales hunter who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers and building a pipeline from scratch.

You will bring:

• Proven Sales Success –Experience in an on-road sales or business development role.

• Industry Exposure – Capital equipment, construction, access equipment, materials handling or similar.
