Job summary

Adaptalift Group is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to service forklift and access equipment at customer sites. You will perform breakdowns, fault finding, repairs and scheduled servicing using modern tools, supported by a national coordination team.

Expect 90% travel across customer sites with autonomy, ongoing training and career development. Applicants should hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate, a valid driver's licence, and a strong safety and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades qualification is required.
• Experience on fixed or mobile plant or automotive equipment desirable.
• Current driver's licence and good safety record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdowns, fault finding, repairs and scheduled servicing on forklifts and access equipment.
• Utilise modern tooling and technologies with support from a national coordination team.
• Travel to customer sites with a high on-road allocation (approx. 90%).

The Role:

What you will be doing day-to-day:

• Delivering exceptional customer service while completing breakdowns, fault finding, repairs and scheduled servicing.
• Working with the latest tools and technology, supported by a national coordination team and experienced supervisors.
• Travelling throughout the Brisbane region, with approximately 90% of your time spent on the road supporting customers.

About You:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (all mechanical trades considered).
• Experience working on fixed plant, mobile plant, automotive equipment or similar.
• Current driver's licence.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and referee checks.
