Queensland Forklifts is seeking a talented Rental Sales Administrator to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This full-time role supports the growth of our rental and sales operations, acting as the backbone of administration and coordinating between customers, the Rental team and operations.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, manage rental enquiries, contracts, bookings and invoicing, while maintaining accurate records.

Competenze

• Proven experience in a sales administration, customer service or sales coordinator role in equipment rental or similar
• Strong organisational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, and experience with CRM or rental management software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation and financial processing
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to high-quality service
• Problem-solving abilities and initiative to improve processes
• Reliable, able to work independently while collaborating with colleagues
• A valid driver’s licence would be advantageous
• Experience in equipment rental, forklift or materials handling is highly desirable

Queensland Forklifts is seeking a talented Rental Sales Administrator to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in Yatala, QLD, and is crucial to supporting the growth and success of our rental & Sales operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our Rental & Sales administration function, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, the Rental team, and operations. You will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining the efficiency and profitability of our rental business.

Key responsibilities

• Processing rental enquiries and quotes promptly and accurately, ensuring all customer requirements are captured and documented
• Coordinating rental agreements and contracts, ensuring all documentation is complete, compliant and executed correctly
• Managing rental bookings and schedules, liaising with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and timely delivery
• Coordinate transport arrangements for both local and interstate movements, issue Purchase Orders and receipts invoices and approve for payment
• Supporting the sales team by maintaining client databases, updating records and generating reports on rental activity and performance
• Handling customer communications regarding rental terms, pricing, delivery schedules and any amendments to bookings
• Processing invoices and managing rental billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
• Resolving customer queries and issues with professionalism and efficiency, escalating complex matters where appropriate
• Assisting in the preparation of sales reports and performance metrics to support management decision-making
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of rental processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales administration, customer service or sales coordinator role, ideally within the equipment rental or similar commercial industry
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and experience with CRM or rental management software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation and financial processing
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
• Problem-solving abilities and the initiative to identify process improvements
• Reliability and the ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with colleagues
