Job summary

Nippon Food Supplies is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our Sydney team. You will promote our Japanese food portfolio, build strong client relationships, and conduct field visits to identify new business opportunities.

A valid NSW license, 2+ years visa validity, and English plus one of several Asian languages are required. This permanent, full-time role offers growth in a respected company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in B2B or corporate sales.
• Valid NSW driver’s license is essential.
• Must hold a valid working visa with at least 2 years remaining.
• Fluency in English and one of Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean or Japanese.
• Physically able to lift/move goods up to 25kg.
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus, not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell Nippon Food Supplies' product portfolio to clients.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and handle inquiries.
• Conduct client visits and field sales activities to uncover opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance against KPIs and report to management.
• Support sales reports with data analysis and market insights.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, admin, and accounting for smooth orders.
• Assist with on-site sales initiatives and order delivery logistics.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure order processing efficiency.

Working Hours

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Days Off: Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and Public Holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell the company’s product portfolio (e.g., Japanese food), leveraging product knowledge and understanding of customer needs to maximise sales impact.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by managing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Conduct client visits and field sales activities to uncover new business opportunities and represent the company with professionalism and confidence.
• Monitor personal sales performance against KPIs and targets, providing accurate reporting and updates to management.
• Support the preparation of sales reports by ensuring data accuracy and contributing insights on customer trends and market opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments (purchase, logistics, admin, and accounting) to ensure timely order fulfillment, service quality, and smooth customer experience.
• Assist with operational tasks as needed, including on-site sales initiatives and order delivery logistics.
• Maintain accurate records in sales systems and tools, ensuring CRM data integrity and efficient order processing.

Requirements and skills

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in B2B or corporate sales
• A valid NSW driver's license (essential).
• Must hold a valid working visa with at least 2 years of work rights remaining
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Fluency in English, as well as proficiency in one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Japanese (spoken and written).
• Sound understanding of Japanese culture and cuisine will be a bonus.
• Physically able to lift and move goods up to 25kg.
