MonJay Mezza is an Australian food manufacturer and distributor for Mediterranean products seeking two Sales Representatives. This field-based B2B role focuses on generating new business and growing sales.

You will identify potential retail customers, visit sites, present our range, and build lasting relationships with owners and buyers. A driver's licence and strong communication skills are essential.

MonJay Mezza is an Australian food manufacturer and distributor specialising in dips, spreads, cheeses and other Mediterranean food products.

We supply our products to retail businesses and other food businesses across Australia and are continuing to grow our customer base.

We are currently looking to appoint Two Sales Representatives to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a field-based B2B sales role focused on generating new business and growing sales for MonJay Mezza.

You will be responsible for identifying potential retail customers, visiting businesses, introducing our product range, developing relationships with business owners and buyers, and converting new opportunities into customers.

This role will suit someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and actively looking for new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new retail business opportunities.
• Prospect for potential customers and generate new sales leads.
• Visit retail businesses and introduce the MonJay Mezza product range.
• Build strong relationships with business owners, buyers and purchasing decision-makers.
• Present and promote our range of dips, cheeses, spreads and other food products.
• Identify opportunities to have MonJay Mezza products stocked by new customers.
• Follow up leads, enquiries and prospective customers.
• Generate new customer accounts and sales.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing retail customers.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Work towards agreed sales and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities and follow-up.
• Work closely with the internal team to support customer onboarding, orders and ongoing service.
• Represent MonJay Mezza professionally when visiting customers and prospective customers.

Experience

Previous sales, business development or customer-facing experience is preferred but not essential.

We are also open to candidates who have strong communication and customer relationship skills and are looking to develop their career in sales.

Requirements

• Valid Australian driver's licence and a clear driving record.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional presentation and manner.
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily activities effectively.

What We Offer

• $70,000 base salary + superannuation

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
