seek.com.au is seeking a Sales Representative for Canberra and regional areas to drive growth across Food Service and Retail channels. You will manage orders, acquire new customers, and build profitable relationships with a trusted national brand.

The role requires experience in ethnic FMCG sales, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently with travel within ACT/NSW. This is a field-based role involving visiting restaurants, stores, and supermarkets.

This role combines steady income, convenience, and independence while working with a trusted national food brand. You will manage Food Service and Retail (Ethnic) channels, responsible for order taking, new customer acquisition while owning sales growth with profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Own annual operating plan and drive volume and value growth for the assigned territory


• Drive consistent sales results for multiple brands through strong distribution and customer management


• Visit restaurants, retail stores, and supermarkets to sell and deliver popular food products


• Identify and onboard new customers to expand the client base


• Grow earnings by building lasting relationships with customers


• Keep simple records of orders, deliveries, and feedback


• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and customer interactions


• Ensure timely and professional service delivery


• Report market trends and customer feedback to the sales manager

About you

• Prior experience in ethnic FMCG sales, especially in food service or retail


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively


• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of stock


• Willing to travel as per journey plans in and around ACT and NSW
