Job summary

Waterco is seeking a confident Sales Representative to join the Victoria team, representing Waterco & Davey product ranges. The role suits someone with pool and spa, plumbing, irrigation, tools, building materials, or related trade experience.

You will manage and grow sales by working with pool builders, retailers, wholesalers, and trade customers, visiting sites and branches, and learning about their needs with training across ranges.

Qualifications

• Background in pool & spa, trades, tools, building materials, or related industries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Technically inclined and comfortable discussing product specifications (training provided).
• Self-starter who hunts for new business and nurtures existing accounts.
• Able to leverage CRM systems, e.g., Sales Force, to plan visits and analyse data.
• Proven ability to meet targets and close sales.
• Excellent customer service focus with strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with new prospects and re-engage dormant accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with pool builders, retailers, and wholesalers.
• Visit customers on site and in branch to understand needs and recommend solutions.

Are you a confident, customer-focused salesperson who enjoys building relationships and winning new business? Waterco is looking for a Sales Representative to join our Victoria team, representing our Waterco & Davey product ranges. This role could suit someone with experience in pool and spa, plumbing, irrigation, tools, building materials or a related trade industry. We also welcome pool technicians who are ready to move from the tools into sales.

About the role

You’ll manage and grow sales by working closely with pool builders, retailers, wholesalers and trade customers. Most of your time will be spent on the road visiting customers, job sites and branches, learning about their needs and recommending suitable products. You’ll have support from our sales, branch and internal teams, along with training across our product ranges.

What you’ll be doing
