Job summary

Jemark Imports Pty is seeking a Sales Representative for VIC, spanning Metro and regional areas. You will be the main contact for customers, manage a portfolio to grow revenue, and build lasting relationships across our giftware and FMCG range.

Role involves regional travel with overnight stays, potential trade-show involvement, and providing market feedback. Mandarin/Cantonese skills are highly valued by the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in giftware or FMCG sales within discount retailers is preferred.
• Ability to travel regionally and manage multiple accounts.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Right to work in Australia with Australian work authorization.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Duties will include various sales and in market activities as required. This role has significant development opportunities to be obtained overtime. Flexibility and opportunity identification will be key attributes of the successful candidate.

The exact nature of the position will vary from time to time, as it is necessary for us to respond to needs of the customers. The Sales Representative will need to remain flexible and work as part of a sales team, and in line with this, may be asked to assist in other areas and perform other tasks which are consistent with their skills and abilities.

Duties expected to perform may include:

Act as the main contact point between the business and the customer

Directly manage a set of accounts to increase revenue and customer service targets

Enhance existing business, building customer relationships

Develop new business

Travel to regional areas (overnight stays expected at least once per month, often for more than one night at a time)

Potentially co-ordinate and attend company tradeshows

Provide local market feedback and activity reports

Offer customers specials and clearance lines

Occasionally get involved in chasing outstanding accounts

Car, phone and laptop will be provided as tools of the trade. Bonus structure will apply (details upon commencement).?

Your normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday, self-managed.
