Job summary

Henderson Group on the Southern Gold Coast is seeking a proactive sales professional to service our Southern Gold Coast customers, selling a broad range of greetings cards, gift packaging and stationery.

The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships with independents, supermarkets and newsagents, pursue new business, and manage monthly overnight travel within the territory. A competitive salary plus company vehicle, phone and iPad are provided.

Henderson Group is a leading supplier of greetings cards, gift packaging and stationery products in the Australian market. We are currently seeking an individual to fill a role servicing our Southern Gold Coast customers.

The successful applicant will sell a large range of quality products and service a variety of customers including independent supermarkets, newsagencies plus more.. A hunger to develop new business within this territory is also a key part of the role.

The advertised position requires monthly overnight country travel.

The individual we are looking for must be able to demonstrate the below qualities:

• An engaging people person with the ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships


• Highly motivated, results orientated leader with a confident approach to seeking new business


• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence a positive outcome


• You have the ability/confidence to present to customers at all levels


• The ability to own the territory and treat the business as they would their own, whilst showing a genuine care for the customers business


• Have outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal


• Have an eye for detail and an appreciation for well-merchandised displays


• Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills


• Possess commercial acumen with strong analytical and reporting skills


• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team


• The person we are looking for should have an honest and strong work ethic, immaculate merchandising skills and prepared to work the hours to achieve success. This position is a hands-on role and some heavy lifting would be required.
