JPS Recruitment Group's client, a premium label manufacturer, is seeking a high‑caliber sales leader to expand presence across premium markets in Australia.

You will lead the sales team, drive revenue opportunities, manage key accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions. Some travel to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide is required.

Offer includes $160k–$180k base plus $20k car allowance and super, with potential OTE above $250k.

Job description

A client of ours, an established premium label manufacturer, is looking for someone to help grow its presence across food and beverage, beauty, health and personal care, pharmaceutical and other premium consumer markets.

What’s on offer

About the role

• Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll focus on managing the sales team, whilst identifying new revenue opportunities for the business.
• You’ll build relationships with brand owners, manufacturers, contract packers and packaging decision-makers, taking opportunities from first conversation through quoting, sampling, trials and commercial agreement.

Your responsibilities will include

• Developing new business across premium self-adhesive labels and related printed packaging.
• Managing an existing small, but high performing, sales and customer service team
• Building a qualified pipeline across food and beverage, beauty, health and personal care, pharmaceutical and consumer products.
• Working with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and commercial targets.
• Bringing new accounts into the business and supporting a smooth handover to the wider team.
• The role involves customer travel and may support the company’s Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide operations.

About you

• Although label industry experience is strongly preferred, a proven record of managing and winning new customers in labels, flexible packaging, cartons or a closely related printed packaging market will be highly regarded.
• You’ll understand pricing, margins and production capabilities, and be confident selling to brand owners and premium consumer-product businesses. You may already lead a sales team or be an ambitious Business Development Manager looking for a path into leadership.
