Job summary

JPS Executive Search & Selection is seeking a sales leader in Campbellfield, VIC to grow its presence across premium packaging markets. You’ll manage a small, high-performing team and drive opportunities from initial discussions through quoting, sampling, trials and commercial agreements.

You’ll build relationships with brand owners and manufacturers across food & beverage, beauty, health & personal care, pharmaceutical and consumer products, with travel to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide as

A client of ours, an established premium label manufacturer, is looking for someone to help grow its presence across food and beverage, beauty, health and personal care, pharmaceutical and other premium consumer markets.

What’s on offer

• $160,000–$180,000 + $20,000 car allowance + super
• Potential OTE of $250,000++

• Support from experienced estimating, prepress, production and customer service teams.

About the role

• Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll focus on managing the sales team, whilst identifying new revenue opportunities for the business.
• You’ll build relationships with brand owners, manufacturers, contract packers and packaging decision-makers, taking opportunities from first conversation through quoting, sampling, trials and commercial agreement.

Your responsibilities will include

• Developing new business across premium self-adhesive labels and related printed packaging.
• Managing an existing small, but high performing, sales and customer service team
• Building a qualified pipeline across food and beverage, beauty, health and personal care, pharmaceutical and consumer products.
• Working with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and commercial targets.
• Bringing new accounts into the business and supporting a smooth handover to the wider team.
• The role involves customer travel and may support the company’s Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide operations.

About you

• Although label industry experience is strongly preferred, a proven record of managing and winning new customers in labels, flexible packaging, cartons or a closely related printed packaging market will be highly regarded.
• You’ll understand pricing, margins and production capabilities, and be confident selling to brand owners and premium consumer-product businesses. You may already lead a sales team or be an ambitious Business Development Manager looking for a path into leadership.
