Job summary

Sulzer in Australia is seeking a Sales Engineering Specialist to support the sales process with technical expertise on pumps and related equipment. You will bridge engineering and sales, ensuring technical accuracy and customer satisfaction while driving key accounts in the Western Area End User segment.

Responsibilities include planning and executing sales activities, preparing proposals with the Tendering Team, negotiating terms, building long-term relationships, and providing pre-sales

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree required.
• Technical sales experience with pumps and related equipment.
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to meet sales targets and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of sales activities in line with strategy.
• Identify new markets and opportunities.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with Tendering Team.
• Negotiate tender and contract terms with key accounts.
• Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products and activities.
• Meet regular sales targets.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Solve client challenges.
