Job summary

Sulzer in Australia seeks a Sales Engineering Specialist (Western Area End User) to bridge engineering and sales. You will plan and drive sales activities, prepare technical proposals, and negotiate terms with major accounts within the Flow Division.

You will leverage mechanical engineering training and pumps knowledge to deliver pre‑sales support, educate customers, and grow profitable relationships across the Western Area in Australia.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical sales experience with pumps and associated equipment.
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ambition to achieve sales targets and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support and follow up sales activities in line with strategy and processes.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with Tendering Team.
• Negotiate tender and contract terms with key accounts to meet client and company needs.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers and suppliers to reduce risk and maximize opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products and activities.
