Job summary

Tarkine Consulting Group is hiring a Sales Development Representative based in Melbourne, Australia. You will target Australian enterprise accounts, performing outbound outreach to senior operational and technology leaders, and setting qualified meetings for the Founder.

Qualifications

• 12 to 24 months of outbound sales experience with cold calling and LinkedIn outreach.
• Confidence initiating contact with senior executives, even without deep technical knowledge.
• Strong written communication and a professional, articulate phone manner.
• Genuine organisation and CRM discipline, following a process over ad hoc work.
• Resilience and coachability, comfortable with rejection and a repetitive outbound cadence.
• You don’t need to be able to solution, price or close; that part is handled by the Founder.

Responsibilities

• Research target accounts and identify the right contacts to approach.
• Cold call, LinkedIn and personalised email outreach to senior leaders and transformation leads.
• Qualify prospects against a clear standard before booking a meeting.
• Book and confirm meetings and brief the Founder with account research.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and a disciplined follow-up cadence.
• Nurture prospects who are interested but not yet ready to engage.
