Job summary

Tarkine Consulting has been engaged to secure a Sales Development Representative for a fast-growing technology consulting firm building genuinely agentic AI solutions for Australian enterprise.

Our client helps businesses replace slow, manual, people-heavy operations with AI-led managed services, deploying agentic AI across functions like customer service, collections, accounts receivable and payable, and loan processing.

Qualifications

• 12–24 months of hands-on outbound sales experience (cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, personalised email prospecting).
• Confidence initiating contact with senior executives, even without deep technical knowledge.
• Strong written communication and a professional phone manner.
• Genuine organisation and CRM discipline; you follow a process rather than ad hoc work.
• Resilience and coachability; comfortable with rejection and repetitive cadence.
• You are not required to solution, price or close; meetings booked with qualified prospects are your focus.

Responsibilities

• Research target accounts and identify the right contacts to approach.
• Conduct cold calls, LinkedIn outreach and personalised emails to senior leaders.
• Qualify prospects against a defined standard before booking meetings.
• Book and prepare account research briefings for the Founder ahead of each meeting.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and consistent follow-up cadence.
• Nurture interested prospects until they are ready to engage.
