Hilton across three distinctive properties, including the new Hilton Palm Cove Resort & Spa, is seeking a commercially minded events and groups coordinator. Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales, groups, events or a similar coordination role.
• Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive, positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Japanese language skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage group, conference and event enquiries from initial contact through to contracting and operational handover.
• Build strong client relationships and convert enquiries into confirmed business.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, group summaries and detailed Banquet Event Orders.
• Coordinate accommodation, catering, room setup, audiovisual requirements, billing and special requests.
• Support tour series, Asian market and school group business.
• Conduct hotel site inspections and confidently showcase our facilities.
• Maintain accurate booking and customer information across Delphi and Hilton systems.
• Track contracts, deposits, rooming lists and key booking deadlines.
• Work closely with operational departments to ensure all group and event requirements are clearly communicated.
• Identify opportunities to upsell, generate repeat business and maximise revenue across the three hotels.
