Job summary

McKinnon Heating & Cooling is hiring a Sales Consultant to visit customers across Melbourne and the south-east, assess heating and cooling needs, and deliver tailored quotations. You will close deals, manage inbound leads with a professional approach, and work with office and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

No HVAC experience is required; training will be provided. The role offers a generous base plus commission, a company vehicle, and ongoing product development

About the role

You will visit customers in their homes and businesses across Melbourne and the south-east to understand their heating and cooling needs and provide tailored quotations.

You will:

• Meet with customers and recommend suitable heating and cooling solutions
• Convert inbound leads through a professional, consultative sales approach
• Build rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds
• Work through difficult or sensitive conversations with patience and confidence
• Explain options clearly and help customers make informed decisions
• Follow up quotes and guide customers through the sales process
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Represent McKinnon Heating & Cooling with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Work closely with office staff and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Attend manufacturer training to build your product knowledge and sales capability

About you

You will be a natural communicator who enjoys meeting people and can make customers feel comfortable quickly.
