Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Conditioning Australia is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to join our commercial sales team in Queensland. This field-based role focuses on identifying project opportunities, providing technical solutions and influencing specifications for MHIAA products.

You'll build relationships with consulting engineers, contractors and industry stakeholders, deliver technical presentations, support tenders and align product recommendations with customer needs.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to combine your HVAC knowledge with relationship-building and technical sales.

Working with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and other industry professionals, you'll help identify commercial project opportunities, provide technical solutions and influence the specification of MHIAA products.

It's a field-focused role with plenty of variety, autonomy and the opportunity to develop strong relationships across Queensland's commercial HVAC industry.

Whether you're already working in technical sales or have a strong HVAC technical background and an interest in moving into a more commercially focused position, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build and maintain relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and key commercial project stakeholders.

Identify new project opportunities and support the specification of MHIAA products.

Provide technical advice, product selections and practical HVAC solutions to customers.

Deliver product presentations, technical training and industry information sessions.

Support commercial tenders, quotations and project enquiries.

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone who understands HVAC systems, enjoys working with people and can confidently communicate technical information.

Ideally, you'll bring:

A background in commercial HVAC, whether through technical sales, engineering, estimating, applications or a relevant trade.

A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a related discipline.

A sound understanding of air conditioning systems and their applications.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload.

Previous experience in technical sales, specification sales or business development would be highly regarded, but we're also interested in hearing from technically capable HVAC professionals looking to develop their sales career.
