Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a Safety Adviser for a 6-month contract on a major city-based construction project in Brisbane. The role covers multiple sites, overseeing all day-to-day, site-based safety activities during the final stages of construction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, proven Tier 1 contractor experience, and strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems. Immediate start with PAYG or Pty Ltd day-rate arrangements.

Safety Adviser - 6 Month Contract (Immediate Start)

We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Adviser to support the close-out stages of a major, iconic city-based construction project. This is an immediate start, 3-month contract opportunity with a highly regarded Tier 1 contractor.

The Role

Working across multiple sites, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day, site-based safety activities during the final stages of construction. Scopes of work will be varied and include:

• Civil works
• Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)
• Building works
• Structural works

This is a hands-on, site-focused role requiring strong communication, leadership, and practical safety management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting site teams to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project safety systems
