Job summary

Unify Recruitment seeks a Health and Safety Coordinator to support major Data Centre projects. You will embed safe systems of work on site, conducting audits, risk assessments, and training to build a proactive safety culture across large-scale facilities.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and strong WHS knowledge, with experience in commercial construction preferred. Rewarding package and long-term project opportunities available with a respected Tier 1 contractor.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of HSEQ policies, systems, and procedures across project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and client requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and review of SWMS, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
• Provide coaching and support to site teams, subcontractors, and workers on safe work practices.
• Contribute to incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action management.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to build a strong culture of safety.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reporting for project management and clients.

Unify Recruitment are partnering with a well known Electrcial Contractor, who due to recent project awards, are in the market for an Safety Advisor to join the team.

Are you passionate about building a strong safety culture and supporting major Data Centre delivery? Our client - a major tier 1 contractor, are offering a very exciting opportunity across interesting and sizeable projects.

The Role:

As a Safety Advisor, you will be an integral part of the project team, providing support and guidance to ensure safe systems of work are embedded across site operations. This role offers exposure to large-scale Data Centre Projects

• Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation of HSEQ policies, systems, and procedures across project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and client requirements.
