CGC Recruitment is seeking a Safety Adviser for a 6-month contract on a major city-based construction project in Brisbane. The role covers multiple sites, overseeing all day-to-day, site-based safety activities during the final stages of construction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, proven Tier 1 contractor experience, and strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems. Immediate start with PAYG or Pty Ltd day-rate arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Safety Adviser role within construction.
• Proven experience working with a Tier 1 contractor.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems.

Responsabilités

• Full oversight of day-to-day site safety operations.
• Conducting site inspections, audits, and safety walks.
• Supporting site teams to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project safety systems.
• Managing close-out safety documentation and final safety deliverables.
• Incident management, reporting, and follow-up actions.
• Engaging with subcontractors and stakeholders to maintain high safety standards.
