Job summary

Randstad is seeking an APS4 Administration Officer for a 12-month assignment in Parramatta, Western Sydney. The role supports safeguarding for Australians with disability and ensures service integrity in a federal government context.

Key responsibilities include triaging safeguarding requests, managing end-to-end workflows, stakeholder coordination, and data-informed recommendations. The position offers an hourly rate of $43.82 plus super, with a 9-to-5 style workday, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret legislation, policy, and procedures in routine and moderately complex matters.
• Strong prioritisation of competing demands and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with handling of sensitive participant details confidentially.
• Collaborative team player who adapts quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialised business systems/databases.

Responsibilities

• Triage & Coordinate: review, register, and triage safeguarding advice requests with accurate assessment and timely allocation.
• Manage End-to-End Workflows: monitor requests, maintain logs, update records, and support pipeline reporting.
• Engage Stakeholders: act as central point of contact for internal stakeholders; coordinate meetings and smooth communications.
• Conduct Research & Analysis: gather information, review records, and analyse data to support evidence-based recommendations.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: identify bottlenecks and support projects strengthening safeguarding frameworks.
