Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an APS4 Administration Officer (Safeguarding Support) to join the NDIA in Geelong VIC. You will provide high-quality administrative support for participant safeguarding functions, triaging requests, coordinating workflows and supporting stakeholders to ensure compliant, participant‑centred service delivery.

This role requires structured government or health/community services experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Proven admin/operations experience in a structured environment (government, regulation, health/community services, or similar).
• Ability to assess, prioritise and allocate work in line with risk and business frameworks.
• Strong capability in monitoring work queues and shared inboxes, tracking items and maintaining records.
• Confident coordination skills (booking meetings, managing correspondence, supporting workflow planning).
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to tailor messaging to stakeholders.
• Sound judgement, professionalism and resilience when managing competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Experience handling sensitive information with appropriate confidentiality and information security practices.
