Job summary
Sharp & Carter is partnering with a leading HR technology and SaaS business to appoint a Business Development Manager who will lead an established team of 7-8 BDMs across Australia. This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing sales capability, lifting performance and helping experienced salespeople maximise potential.
You will coach, influence and lead from the front to drive new business growth. The role requires coaching across objection handling, negotiation and closing techniques,
Qualifications
- Proven track record of high sales performance.
- Strong B2B sales experience.
- Outstanding objection handling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to coach and develop experienced salespeople.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of 7-8 Business Development Managers.
- Deliver ongoing coaching and performance development.
- Improve individual and team sales performance.
- Coach across objection handling, negotiation, closing techniques, prospecting strategies, pipeline management, consultative selling.
- Set clear expectations and drive accountability.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and development sessions.
- Support the team through complex sales opportunities.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture.
- Lead from the front with strong sales behaviours and commercial acumen.
