Job summary

MAX Solutions is seeking a RTO Business Manager for Rockhampton, Qld to oversee all aspects of the SEE program regionally. You will mentor staff, ensure compliant training services and work with senior management to maintain high standard outcomes across multiple locations.

The role focuses on leading regional operations, staff development, and strategic use of trainers and classrooms to maximise service delivery and participation with referral agencies and employers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of team management experience.
• Experience driving KPI targets and region plans.
• Ability to empower, engage and support teams across multiple locations.
• Experience in business development and government training contracts is advantageous.
• Working with Children Check is required before commencement.

This role will see you managing all aspects of the SEE program (Skills for Education and Employment) to ensure success and meet contract requirements for the region.

You will mentor and support staff and deliver compliant training services while being supported by a very experienced and inclusive Senior Management team.

The opportunity

• Lead and manage a region with a strong SEE presence
• Put your sales and relationship building skills to good use working with referral agencies, employers and community associations to increase participation
• Management of staff to support them and ensure success in their roles
• Ensure effective utilisation of trainers, classrooms and class scheduling to maximise our offering through the region

About you

• Proven experience in managing teams to drive positive results and meet budget requirements. Experience in the education/training sector is preferred, but not compulsory
• A minimum of 3-5 years of team management experience is required
• Review, manage and be accountable for KPI's and the plan for your region
• Experience and ability to empower, engage and support your team across multiple locations by building effective and positive working relationships
• Have a strong grasp on business development and the ability to drive KPI's to achieve desired outcomes
• Exposure to business development experience is required
• Knowledge of government training contracts and compliance requirements would be advantageous
• A Working with Children Check is required before commencement of employment.
