Job summary

The Lodge Wadjemup on Rottnest Island seeks a Front Office Supervisor to oversee daily operations and guide the team through each shift. You will ensure guests enjoy a warm, professional and seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will lead rosters, monitor activity and collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations and maintenance to uphold service standards and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Front Office experience in hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident in handling guest concerns and decisions during busy periods.
• Experience using a hotel PMS; Mews experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Front Office operations and support the team across shifts.
• Lead by example, delivering exceptional guest service.
• Assist with guest arrivals, departures, enquiries and reservations.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues.
• Support training, development and onboarding of Front Office team members.
• Ensure accurate completion of daily Front Office procedures, handovers and reporting.
• Monitor room status, guest requests and priorities.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance and other departments.
• Assist with rostering, team performance and operational requirements.
