G'day Group's Discovery Parks, Rottnest Island is seeking a casual Reservations/Front Office professional to join the team. You will commute from Fremantle by ferry daily, with the crossing paid by the company, and handle guest inquiries, bookings and check-ins during peak season.

Outside peak periods, duties pivot to different front desk tasks while maintaining exceptional guest service and operation efficiency on Rottnest Island.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous Reservations and/or Front Office experience within the hospitality industry.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 8 months in the role.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Proficient with RMS or a comparable Reservation Booking System.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Heaps of enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• A high standard of personal presentation.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required.

Responsabilités

• Providing a high standard of customer service and maintaining excellent relationships with the park teams, guests and Stakeholders.
• Quoting availability and rates to our customers and responding to general enquiries by phone and email.
• Processing reservations, changes and payments in line with company policy.
• Checking guests in and out and settling their accounts.
• Liaising with all areas of the business to ensure a smooth operation.
• Providing guests with information about the resort and local areas of interest.
• The sale of third-party products and merchandise as required.
• Completing relevant day-to-day departmental checklists.
