Job summary

Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a Band 5 Team Leader to provide day-to-day leadership, coordination and supervision for the Roster Support Unit across North West Hospitals. You will oversee rostering, staff development, data integrity and ProAct system matters.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus experience with HR/payroll information systems and staff training. You will build productive relationships while maintaining a high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering/productivity or HR/payroll information systems may be required or quickly learned.
• Proficiency with database applications and staff training.
• Strong communication and staff supervision skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination for the Roster Support Unit.
• Supervise rostering, staffing admin and data integrity across hospital sites.
• Oversee reporting, resolve rostering issues and train staff.
• Contribute to system enhancements and business process improvements.
