Job summary

The Integrated Operations Centre in North West Tasmania is seeking an Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative and clerical support to the Nursing Director. You will coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence, take minutes and assist with rostering and patient records.

You will handle confidential information, contribute to accreditation activities, and support reporting and information systems across North West Hospitals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high-level administrative and clerical experience.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and information systems.
• Understanding of project support and records management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings and appointments, take minutes, and prepare correspondence.
• Support clinical roster management, compile reports and maintain records.
• Provide professional reception and telephone services.
• Assist with accreditation and project activities in a busy healthcare environment.
