Job summary

OneCare in Port Sorell, TAS, is seeking a Rostering Officer to manage daily staff rosters in a not-for-profit aged care setting. The role requires ensuring sick leave, annual leave and vacancies are filled with suitably skilled staff and meeting EBA requirements.

Qualifications

• Rostering experience within a Residential Aged Care setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in contemporary record keeping.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily rostering of employees.
• Ensure sick leave, annual leave and vacancies are filled with suitably skilled staff meeting EBA requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems and sick leave certificates and arrange orientation for new staff as necessary.
• Maintain internal education records.
• Complete other ad-hoc administration duties as directed.

We have a Full Time or Part Time (By Negotiation) opportunity available for a highly motivated, outside the box thinker to join our team as a Rostering Officer!

What will you do?

As the Rostering Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Management of the daily rostering of employees
• Ensuring sick leave, annual leave and general vacancies are filled with suitably skilled staff that meet contractual and EBA requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems and sick leave certificatesand arrange orientation fornew staff as necessary.
• Maintain internal education records.
• Complete other ad-hoc administration duties as directed

What you bring to the role

• Rostering Experience within a Residential Aged Care Setting (highly desirable)
