Job summary

NoosaCare Incorporated in Queensland is seeking a dedicated Rostering Coordinator to ensure staffing aligns with resident care needs across Carramar and Kabara. You will manage rosters, monitor availability, coordinate permanent and casual staff, and work with clinical managers to maintain workforce efficiency and compliance.

The role requires strong computer skills, excellent organisation, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Prior rostering or workforce scheduling experience, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
• Excellent computer/system skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant awards and compliance would be advantageous.

Full-time Rostering Coordinator Opportunity at NoosaCare

NoosaCare is located across two incredible facilities – Carramar in Tewantin and Kabara in Cooroy. We are a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that puts our residents and their families at the forefront of all we do. Our state-of-the-art facilities are located in stunning natural surroundings and landscaped gardens, where residents live with dignity, respect and choice and experience the highest level of care they deserve.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Rostering Coordinator to join our supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, accuracy, and problem-solving. Working closely with the Clinical Manager and staff across our facilities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, supporting quality care outcomes for our residents.

About the Role

As part of our Rostering team, you will:

• Maintain, and distribute staff rosters to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor staff availability, leave requests, and roster changes to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Coordinate permanent and casual staff to fill roster gaps in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Work closely with managers and payroll to ensure roster accuracy and workforce compliance.
• Communicate roster updates promptly and maintain accurate workforce records.
• Support workforce planning initiatives and assist with day-to-day rostering administration.

About You

• Previous experience in rostering or workforce scheduling, with aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded
• Exceptional computer and system skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and compliance requirements would be advantageous but not essential.
