Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Civil Labourer/Roller Operator for a local Flagstone project in Queensland. The role involves site preparation, earthworks support, and operating a roller, with responsibilities across subgrade prep and concrete works.

Start ASAP with easy onboarding and a 6:30am–5pm, Monday–Friday schedule. A valid license, White Card, and RII Roller Ticket are required, plus at least 12 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Drivers license and own transport.
• White Construction Card.
• RII Roller Ticket.
• Minimum 12 months experience in duties listed.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, setup, and cleanup.
• Support earthworks by spotting machinery and handling materials.
• Shovel, rake, spread, and compact soil and aggregates.
• Assist with excavation, backfilling, and trench works.
• Assist with stormwater, sewer, and service pipes installation.
• Prepare subgrade and sub-base for roads and pavements.
• Assist with kerb, channel, asphalt, and concrete works.
• Operate hand tools and small plant (compactors, cutters, jackhammers).
• Load, unload, and distribute materials and equipment.
• Operate the roller when required.

About Our Client

Our client is a large, family-owned civil construction contractor in Australia operating across Queensland and New South Wales.

They are now looking for Road Civil Labourer/Roller Operators to commence ASAP!

What You Will Be Doing

As a Civil Labourer/Roller Operator, your duties will involve

• Assist with site preparation, setup, and general clean-up
• Support earthworks by spotting machinery and handling materials
• Shovel, rake, spread, and compact soil and aggregates
• Assist with excavation, backfilling, and trench works
• Assist with installation of stormwater, sewer, and service pipes
• Prepare subgrade and sub-base for roads and pavements

• Load, unload, and distribute materials and equipment
• Operate the roller when & where required

Shift Structure

6:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

What is Required
