Job summary

WorkPac Group in Ipswich, Queensland, is seeking workers for civil construction tasks on subdivision sites, including earthworks, drainage, kerb, and road prep. You will assist with site preparation, trenching, and installation of underground services under supervision.

Applicants should have a valid driver's licence, access to reliable transport, a White Card, and at least 6 months' civil or construction experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil/construction (min 6 months).
• Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• White Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subdivision civil works, including site preparation, earthworks, trenching and general construction activities
• Assist with the installation of stormwater drainage, sewer, water and underground service infrastructure
• Perform road crossing works, including excavation, pipe installation, backfilling and reinstatement under supervision
• Assist plant operators with spotting, directing machinery and maintaining safe exclusion zones around excavation and construction activities
• Undertake bedding, backfilling, compaction and levelling using hand tools and compaction equipment
• Assist with kerb, footpath, road preparation and pavement works, including general concreting and site clean-up

About the Client

Our client is an established civil construction contractor delivering a range of infrastructure, urban development and commercial projects. Their capabilities include bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure, utilities and site development.
