Job summary

WorkPac is hiring a Civil Operator for projects based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, operating machinery within a Defence environment. You will support earthworks, drainage, and site development while working with a coordinated crew to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

The role requires roller and HR licences with a strong commitment to safety and professionalism on Defence sites. Immediate start available in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Civil construction experience across earthworks, drainage, roadworks, or general infrastructure projects.
• Roller ticket Mandatory
• Watercart ticket - Preferred
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence Mandatory

Responsibilities

• Supporting civil construction, earthworks, and site development tasks within a Defence environment.
• Operating machinery and plant (where licensed) safely and efficiently as part of a coordinated crew.
• Operating Roller and HR Driving
• Working collaboratively with site supervisors to ensure highquality, compliant project delivery.
• Upholding strict safety standards required on Defence sites and ensuring work is performed with professionalism and cultural respect.

• $41/hr.+ penalties
• Located in Wagga RAAF Base
• Immediate Start
