Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Civil Labourer/Roller Operator for a major road upgrade on the Logan Motorway in Brisbane. This local role offers an ASAP start with on-site duties and a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities include pavement rehabilitation, earthworks, drainage installation, site prep, and operating rollers where appropriately ticketed. Night shifts attract shift allowances; a valid Driver's Licence and White Card are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Drivers Licence and reliable transport.
• White Card required.
• RII Roller Ticket desirable.
• Previous experience in civil labouring and roller operations.

• Pavement rehabilitation, preparation and earthworks.
• Subsoil drainage and trench piping installation.
• Preparation and support for asphalt and road surfacing works.
• Assisting with electrical service preparation works.
• Site establishment including safety signage, temporary fencing and barriers.
• Spotting for heavy plant and mobile equipment.
• General civil labouring and site clean‑up.
• Operating rollers and other machinery where ticketed.
• Work around live road construction environments and traffic controls.

About Our Client

Our client is an Australian family-owned civil infrastructure and construction contractor operating since 1961.

They are now looking for Civil Labourer/Roller Operators to commence ASAP!

What You Will Be Doing

As a Civil Labourer/Roller Operator, your duties will be

• Pavement rehabilitation, preparation and earthworks
• Subsoil drainage and trench piping installation
• Preparation and support for asphalt and road surfacing works
• Assisting with electrical service preparation works
• Site establishment including safety signage, temporary fencing and barriers
• Spotting for heavy plant and mobile equipment
• General civil labouring and site clean‑up
• Operating rollers and other relevant machinery where appropriately ticketed
• Working around live road construction environments and traffic management controls

Shift Structure

Day shift 6:30am to 5pm M-F

Night shift 6pm to 4:30am S-T

What is Required

• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• White Card
• RII Roller Ticket desirable!
• Previous experience in above duties
• Reliability and good communication skills!
